Robin West Smith, is a graduate of Wayne State University with over 30 years working background in information technology and project management. WADE Center for Self Development formerly West-Smith Consultants (established in 2002), was renamed to honor Ms. Smith’s father, Wade West, who passed away Father’s Day 2006.

The company is managed and operated as a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) by Robin West Smith, and African American woman who is an internationally certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Ms. Smith has developed many relationships in her community through her volunteer projects and graduate studies at Wayne State University. Ms. Smith is also a certified speaker on a number of topics relating to personal development for women, young and old.

WADE Center for Self Development, LLC, provides project management support for all types of projects, large and small, in addition to training on managing projects. Her expertise has allowed her to navigate through the complexity of each phase of project development and can bring clarity to chaos in any situation.

The company’s goal is provide clients with quality services to enhance their work and provide solutions by offering the following support services:

  • Conduct training and presentation workshops
  • Research and information gathering
  • Preparation of all project-related documentation
  • Primary interface with vendor and corporate sponsors, including public relations staff
  • Guide staff personnel with resolution of day-to-day issues that pertain to a specific project need
  • Effectively establish and maintain open communication lines for all involved parties
  • Grant research and preparation

In addition, Ms. Smith's professional associations have included the American Business Woman Association (ABWA), Project Management Institute (PMI) and Specific Industry Groups, Detroit Entrepreneurship Institute (DEI), Women of Virtue Development Institute and a Wayne State University Alumnus, Campus Connector and Adjunct Faculty Member.
