Monica D. Smith is co-owner of J.P. Davis & Associates, Loaned Executive for United Way, a "World Class Volunteer" for Business-Education Partnership, on the Board of Directors for the Gaston Literacy Council and Gaston Together.

Ms. Smith has provided extensive training for police departments regarding diversity education and sensitivity training for the officers. 

Knowing that humans make decisions about others based upon race, gender, age, ability and appearance, she teaches others to reach inside other people to the "secondary level" to discover that we have far more in common with one another than differences. Ms. Smith works with associations, faith-based organizations, corporations, police departments, and the incarcerated to teach acceptance. She realizes that Diversity is a business and societal issue, and that Diversity education is a must for people of all races and backgrounds.

Monica Smith brings passion and understanding to her workshops and seminars. She is available to present or keynote on a local, national, or international basis.
