Suzette Salandy, a native of the beautiful island
of Trinidad, has been working in human resources for over eleven
years. Suzette worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a human
resource manager, focusing on associate relations, investigations,
interventions, conflict management, performance issues and workplace
harassment. Also, since 1997, Ms. Salandy has been working as a
Professional Image Consultant specializing in multi-occasion make-up
artistry. Suzette's philanthropic interests have enabled her
to donate her time and talents to many charitable organizations,
including Dress for Success, a not-for-profit organization dedicated
to helping under-privileged women succeed in the work force. As
an image consultant, she conducts individual consultation sessions
helping women improve their self-presentation and makeup/grooming
habits and has successfully led several workshops helping teen mothers
enhance their image and professionalism in the workplace.
Suzette has a bachelor's degree in business
management from the University of Phoenix and certification in both
makeup artistry and customer service application and behavior. She
is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the
National Association for Female Executives and is a member of the
International Advisory Board for the Professional Women's
Network. She has co-authored Customer Service & Professionalism
for Women, a PWN book to be released in 2006. Suzette is available
for workshops and seminars on a local, national and international
basis.
