Starla Porter is President and Founder of The Zoe
Life Institute, a Personal and Professional Development Company.
She has a strong desire to see all people live the life they were
purposed to live, whereby discovering and experiencing a higher
way to live and learn! She is passionate about the issues women
face today, and deeply believes there's immeasurable power in the
unity of strong and capable women.
Ms. Porter serves as primary consultant and executing
trainer facilitating side by side with other certified training
members. Collectively seminars and training workshops are conducted
in over 20 different subject matters. As a result of this cohesiveness,
they have established a sound training program that will positively
enhance any workplace, community, church, or educational environment
offered by The Zoe Life Institute.
Ms. Porter is a visionary, and has been servicing
others for over 20 years having worked for such notable companies
like Nestle, USA. She has earned a Bachelors of Science degree in
Business Management, and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational
Management. Upon receiving credentials by the State of California
to teach a variety of business related courses at both the high
school and college levels, Mrs. Porter chose to work part-time as
a substitute teacher and training workshop facilitator. In addition,
she is certified to train in Cultural Diversity, Women's Issues,
Women: A Journey to Wellness and Customer Service.
Ms. Porter is a keynote and motivational speaker.
An advocate for mentoring others, she conducts a monthly support
group Sister Network (http://www.thezoelife.com/pages.asp?pageid=11523)
that's geared towards professional women. Mrs. Porter is transparent
as she unselfishly shares lessons from her own journey, all in an
effort to help someone else avoid similar snares, pitfalls, and
hopefully minimize disappointments; thus experiencing more frequent
successes in life.
Ms. Porter is a excited about her future plans
that include The Zoe Life Wellness Project! This undertaking
will cater to the underserved, offering support to families for
every facet of life. Be it Nutrition and Fitness; Reading for Life
(a literacy program) Family Counseling, or the Welfare to Work Program,
her mission is to assist all people into becoming positive contributors
to society, by experiencing and living a rewarding life.
