LaShon Philson-Chase is President & CEO of Philson West Enterprises,
a development and coaching organization for individuals seeking
self-enrichment, and for organizations seeking staff development
tools.
Her 20+ years of private sector business experience combined
with more than 6 years of governmental contract, grant, and fiscal
experience,
and more than 4 years of non-profit experience include public
speaking and effective communications training, corporate finance
and management,
and the design of sales and marketing strategies. Currently,
LaShon is a senior administrative and fiscal specialist for the
Department
of Health and Human Services.
LaShon has an irrefutable passion in the empowerment of women and
children, especially. Believing in one’s self is where it
all begins. Her exceptional academic education and business savvy
was achieved in Berkeley, California. She continues her studies
toward her MBA in the state of Maryland.
As a certified youth & parent trainer, LaShon counsels and
trains youth and their parents on life skills. She trains women
and men in managing finances and credit, and trains youth, women
and men in presenting a professional image, exhibiting proper etiquette,
career planning, and building self-confidence and esteem. Additionally,
she is a certified life coach, success coach, mentor, and international
author. Her repertoire of accomplishments include a strong background
and partnership with fortune 500 organizations who sought her out
to develop leadership and team building programs, help staff reduce/eliminate
stress, cope with transition, and deal with changes in infrastructure
and organization. She is available for seminars, workshops, personal
and professional coaching, and keynote speaking engagements on
a local, national, or international basis.
