Dr. Rosie Mills was born in the Commonwealth of
Dominica and pursued her education in the United States with a Masters
Degree from Fordham University in Adult Education and her Doctorate
in Gerontology. She was awarded the Outstanding Service Award by
the United Hospital Fund for her extraordinary compassion and dedicated
care which enhanced the quality of life for nursing home residents.
Dr. Mills has also been Adjunct Professor at the Metropolitan College
of New York.
Dr. Rosie Mills is passionate about educating staffs
of long term care healthcare facilities in regarding to positive
attitudes, diversity, compassion, and etiquette, and dealing with
stress and frustration. Her seminars are highly interactive with
excellent material and information.
With an extensive background in gerontology, Dr.
Mills also delivers presentations for the Baby Boomer generation
on what to expect not only as they age, but how they may do so with
dignity, very high self-esteem, and ongoing independence. She also
delivers information on how to deal with aging parents (and family
members) and how to assist the aged with home safety, choosing a
long-term nursing home, and what to expect with the emotions of
the elderly.
Dr. Rosie Mills is available to deliver top-drawer
keynote presentations and seminars in the Caribbean, Europe, and
the United States.
