Book:

  • Maybe I'll Be...

Areas of Expertise:

  • Special Education and Children with learning disabilities.
  • President of Parent Teacher Organization

Annette Manning knew at a young age that she wanted to grow up and teach children.  After working in an administrative position within a school district for 10 years, she finally made the decision to go back to school, and work towards fulfilling her dream.  Annette eventually graduated from the University of La Verne where she earned both a Bachelors and Master's degree in Education.  She has been teaching for 10 years now, and has worked with a variety of age groups, ranging from Transitional Kindergarten to Elementary Special Education.  She has an innate desire to help and educate children, and this shows in the passion she demonstrates in her classroom each day.

Outside of the classroom, one of Annette's greatest passions is spending time with her children and grandchildren, which served as one of her biggest inspirations for writing this book.  Whether it is family trips to the beach, or taking all the grandchildren to Disneyland, Annette is at her happiest when she is making memories with her family.
