Yvette Yvette deLaubanque is a true Carribean woman; she was born in St. Kitts and currently resides in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. She has had a wide range of professional experiences, which she brings to the table. As a former educator of 17 years, the owner of several small businesses and a construction company, Ms. deLaubanque is a well equipped to provide training in several areas.

She is the founder and director of Events in Paradise, an independent Event Planning Firm  that plans events on any island in the region. Ms. Yvette deLaubanque is currently the director of the Virgin Islands Woman's Business Center. Women's Business Centers are technical assistance and training entities whose focus is on the development of entrepreneurship amongst women. She has trained and provided counseling to over 10,000 women. In this capacity, she produces three major events per year, a conference, an E-Commerce Summit and an Exposition each attracting over 200 attendees. She has designed and developed a Youth Entrepreurship Program for Girls between the ages of 13 & 17. 

She is a member of several professional organizations and serves on the International Board of Advisors for the Professional Woman Network. Other memberships include: Meeting Professionals International, the largest association for event planners; the National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners, National Association of Female Executives and numerous local organizations.

Ms. Yvette deLaubanque is available for presentation seminars and workshops, panel discussions and keynote addresses on many aspects of Entrepreneurship and women in business issues.
