Amy Burke and Doris McIntosh Webb are co-owners of
McIntosh-Webb Associates, Inc. and are Certified Professional Image
Consultants. They conduct team-teaching seminars and workshops for
women, specializing in professional and personal self-improvement
programs. Our Mission is to empower to women to become a more self
assured person in the way she looks, the way she speaks, the way
she acts and the way she feels about herself in today's multicultural
workforce. To give each woman the resources , strategies, and skills
necessary for achieving maximum effectiveness in handling stress
and finding a balance life with work and family enabling you to
accomplish your dreams.
Ms. Burke holds a BA degree in Equine Studies and
Psychology. She has worked in various businesses as office manager
and in equine industry, she has 22 years experience as a Professional
Equestrian, showing hunt seat and sidesaddle on the East Coast as
well as trraining horses and riders for the show ring. She worked
as the head instructor for the local riding program in Bristol,
Virginia and assistant instructor for the Equine Director of Virginia
Intermont College. In the equestrian industry, she works with adults
and young riders teaching them to handle stress, be assertive, develop
a positive attitude, etiquette, posture, poise, and to have confidence
in their ability.
Amy Burke is also a member of The Professional
Woman Network International Advisory Board.
Doris McIntosh Webb holds a BS Degree in Economics,
a Masters Degree in Business Education and a Teaching Certification.
Doris was the former executive director and CEO for the Havre de
Grace Housing Authority in Maryland, managing public and Section
8 housing. Wrote and executed 3.7 M Comprehensive Improvement Grants
for renovation of public housing and .5M in Drug Grants, a member
of the HUD Drug Task Force and served on the Finance Committee of
the Housing Authority Insurance Board.
Ms. Webb designed and implements an on site office-training
program for the public housing residents for the WELFARE TO WORK
program. Designed and implemented a Business Management training
program for business students attending the University of Maryland,
Eastern Shore and Harford Community College.
In the field of education Ms Webb has taught and
designed business curriculum for public high schools, General Electric
Corporation, served on the Pennsylvania State Education Team, evaluating
school facilities and curriculum. Designed and implemented the SCHOOL
TO WORK program as well as teaching Continuing Education and Adult
Education courses for Community Colleges in Pennsylvania, Maryland,
and Tennessee.
McIntosh-Webb Associates has just opened the Ebenezer
House (www.theebenezerhouse.com), Bed and Breakfast and Conference
Room, where they will hold their local Future Success Image Seminars
and Workshops for women and youth in professionalism.
Amy Burke and Doris Webb are highly qualified motivational
speakers to conduct seminars and workshops for today's dynamic workforce
and will hold seminars, workshops, and speaking engagements on site
for universities, colleges, schools, and companies.
